Support is time limited and focuses on addressing barriers and reducing complexity in the support environment, while assisting the participant to connect with supports and build capacity and resilience. It may also involve development of an intervention plan which will be put in place by disability support workers.<br \/><br \/><strong>Participation within the Community<\/strong><br \/><br \/>assisting participants to participate actively in community, social and civic activities. This includes supporting participants during these activities and developing their ability to take part in these activities.<br \/><br \/><strong>Innovative Community Participation<\/strong><br \/><br \/>assisting participant to access mainstream leisure, social or other activities within their community.<br \/><br \/><strong>Assistance with Personal Activities<\/strong><br \/><br \/>assisting and supervising participants with personal tasks of daily life to enable the client to live as autonomously as possible.<br \/><br \/><strong>Assistance with Daily Tasks in Shared Living<\/strong><br \/><br \/>assisting participants with, or supervising tasks of daily life in a shared living environment, which is either temporary or ongoing, with a focus on developing the skills of each participant to live as autonomously as possible.
